We know that 2020 was a challenging year. The pandemic only amplified the work needed to address the inequalities and injustices perpetrated against Black lives. There is still much to be done, and while we can’t change the nightmares of the past, we can always dream of a better future.
YES WE DO DREAM, is a 4 hour online event that has been designed specifically for Black Femmes in the creative industry. It’s an opportunity to connect, share, and be empowered alongside other Black Femmes. A chance to listen to and engage with renowned speakers from the industry.
It is our dream to enable you to build the world we need in order for you to be able to show up as your full self. And while we realize all the answers won’t magically appear after one event, we believe this can be a start. A start to dream about the future we all want to be a part of.
Because if nobody is taking the time to dream about our future, how will we ever be able to create it?
Yes we do dream.
